G and E are making their lunches today...
They are making turkey and cheese sandwiches.
G said to E: "I recommend that you put the cheese on first, then you need two pieces of turkey."
It was (and still is) very windy today.
At breakfast E was looking out the window and informed me
"Those leaves on that tree over there look like the wings of chickees [her word for chicks] when they are scattering."
E got in trouble with her dad the other day.
She got sent to her room and was quite upset.
G was sitting in her doorway saying (among other things):
"I know it's not fair. That just happens sometimes. You're going to be okay."
Those little conversations are priceless. I wish we could record them.
