First we had to decide on measurements...
Then the kids pretty quickly found a tree they thought we should get.
After an hour of searching for the PERFECT tree, we settled on this one...
The kids started on cutting down, but the parents had to take over before too long.
Next came a cup of hot chocolate and cider while the tree was tied onto the car, the drive home, the wrestling with the stand, and finally after a trip to the store to buy new lights, a decorated tree!
