Happy 4th of July

Our city fireworks were rained out again! In the 5 years we've been here: one year it was postponed until November (a centennial celebration), one year it was postponed until July 5, one year it was postponed about 90 minutes, one year it was on time, and this year it is postponed until Labor Day. Not a great track record for watching a display on July 4th!

But we had a good day regardless! Thanks for the new clothes Granna! After church, we made a stop at the fireworks stand and picked up some poppers and sparklers. The kids were nervous at first, but really enjoyed them.
