Birthday, Golfing, Castle, and Soccer

And that is just a partial list of what we've been doing in the past 3 days!!

Here's to one of the world's newest 7 year olds! :)

We ran out of time to make the birthday cake we were planning, so we improvised! It was a big hit and much cooler to make! I love ice cream sandwiches!!

The theme this year seems to be mini-golf. We went to a dinosaur themed place. We had a good time but E was scared of the volcano. G overall didn't have a great score, but he did make 3 hole-in-ones!

Then it was off to near Lead Hill, AR. Check out http://www.ozarkmedievalfortress.com/ for more details. It was a super cool time and what we have been talking about all week.

My water guys had to check out the spring that is being enclosed within the castle walls...

This is Honey. It was E's favorite part of the experience....
This is a medieval treadwheel crane. It's hard to see, but there is a person walking in the wheel, using their power to raise the stone at the end of the arm.
We can't wait to go back and watch the castle grow!!

Now it's another official start to yet another soccer season... G's team won this evening and G even scored a goal! Congrats Orange Crush!
