Grandparents Day

Maybe one of the things about living far away from family is that you don't always get to see family on holidays or share special times with them.


Today was a day that we WERE able to share with some family.


Granna was here to participate in the school luncheon celebration of grandparents day.

Lunch was provided by Granna (since they didn't want to eat corn and turkey noodles from the cafeteria). Instead, their menu was cheese quesadilla with salsa, apple snacks, pink lemonade, and oreo cookies. In hindsight, they decided that pink lemonade was not a complement to the oreos!

To all of his other grandparents that couldn't be here today, thanks for being wonderful grandparents and great-grandparents!
