The rain stopped just enough for us to dry out some and have the party outside on a wonderful September evening. Check out this cake! It was big and it fed the gang with just enough left over to have some at the family party!
Here's the race course... the kids had fun running down it and also maneuvering old lawn mower wheels on strings down the course. Some of the adults did too!
And finally, we had the requested pull-string pinata. It worked out that the magic string was pulled on the next to last child. Then the tape holding the door closed was a little too strong, so on the positive side, all the kids got to pull off a string. Then I needed to "help" the goodies come out of the trap door.
