He has been learning about stop marks (periods), exciting/excited marks (exclamation points), and breath marks (commas) in school. They haven't quite gotten to the part of where exactly to use the marks... I love how it is the waffles that are the exciting part in the message!
Oh yeah, "Tuesday Newsday" is a term from his class... on Tuesday's they have "show and tell."
