I'm not sure how or why, but Garett's ingenuity continually surprises me...Tonight, not only did he make this hurdle course, but it was complete with separate hurdle courses for him and his sister - the stools were too tall for her to jump over so he found pipes for her hurdles. Then he made sure that the "hurdles" were all lined up with an even number for them both.
After several races, Garett changed rules and they started having new "levels" to complete. I think this is how it went:
- Level 1 - Plain hurdle course.
- Level 2 - Run hurdle course with two golf balls in your hand and at the end of the lane put the balls in a bucket.
- Level 3 - Run hurdle course with golf balls but now a second bucket was added at the end of the course. One bucket was for the white golf balls, and the other bucket was for the green golf balls.
- Level 4 - Same as level 3 with the addition of after you put your balls in the buckets, you pick up a piece of chalk and draw a line.
What games will we invent tomorrow?
