Emmy and I had some chores to do today...
First she helped me plant some flowers (something I've been meaning to do since May! but at least here we still have another 2 months of growing season.).
While we were planting we found that we had a friend watching us... (he's sitting on the side of our window... about the size of a dime.)
This is the first year living here that we've seen frogs. Usually it is slow, warty toads. But this year we've seen lots of frogs.
After our outdoor chores were finished, she helped me paint some shapes for a new calendar we are making. Well, she started off helping me paint shapes... Then she said "But painting squares is just SOOO boring!" (Make sure you say that with a whiny, sing-songy voice!) So she found something else that was infinitely more fun to paint - herself!
